I notice that lots of paint companies (F&B, Little Green, etc) have colour consultations has anyone done this and found it worth it? And more importantly has anyone ever used an interiors person who is company agnostic (i.e. might suggest Dulux and F&B and Little Green) rather than brand specific?
Our new house needs the interiors painted and I'm finding selecting the colours tricky. For one thing, the house has a few stained glass windows, which means in some rooms there is exclusively dim natural light filtered through coloured glass.
I'd rather have someone who is an expert than make a guess and find, six months or a year from now, that the colour doesn't suit, or I regret doing the easiest choice (all white everwhere!).
