I might be worrying too much about this. It’s our first home and first time doing work. We organised for a carpenter to come and put up cabinets and shelves. We agreed on a date as it would be timed for before the decorators come. He has now informed us that he has to delay it by several weeks and we can’t change the dates for the painters to come.
My DH is pretty angry. I assumed it would be fine for the decorator to just paint the room after the shelves and cabinets have been put up. Is this a big no no? The room has also been skimmed (just in case it’s relevant). Thank you.
