Lenzie vs Kirkintiloch

Hi, i am looking for local people from the areas lile Lenzie and Kirkintilloch..thinkjng of.moving in those areas, both seem pretty similar except houses more expensive in Lenzie. Is it worth it though?
I have p1 and p2 boys, wanting good schools as the rest of parents and green areas for dog walking, cyckling etc. Also wrap around care and after school activoties matter. Dont want to make mistake of moving into deprived areas with drugs, crime... Any opinion will be appreciated

I was brought up in Lenzie and went to school in Kirky. Back then, Lenzie was posh and Kirky a bit rough. Not sure what Kirky's like now, Lenzie is still a bit posh, it has Lenzie Academy and the train station.
