What colour oven black or white ?

The base units are charcoal… worktops marble, white with a grey thread. Wall units off white.

I want a free standing double oven, 500mm so not a lot of options.

I've got white ceramic floor and wall tiles, white cupboards and dark anthracite worktops and composite sink.
Had a white cooker and it looked terrible. Now got a black one and it's fab.
Similar to this but 60cm wide.

There are a handful available but not a lot of choice in them.

just realised it's my overseas brain clicking in, not my U.K. brain. double oven to me is like range/aga, where the ovens are side by side, not one on top of the other!

@HiveBee Have you had a (U.K. 🤣) double oven before? My friend had her whole kitchen redone, she LOVES it, except for the double oven. She finds both of them too small.

Oh gosh that’s interesting I must admit it’s just me here on my own with my little boy so my thought process was most of the time I’m just gonna be using the top oven to heat up an Aldi cottage pie for me and do him a nice well done steak. I tend when the family comes over to eat out 😬

i understand you're thinking & would have thought the same until she's been on about it being too small (for 2 of them) and she couldn't fit in dishes she used to use & make. 💁🏻‍♀️ I have to replace mine soon. I'm not sure what I'm going to get 🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️

hers is an under counter, I'm not sure if the eye level ones are any different?

Oh it sounds like she’s gone for the built-in option and they are small at the best of times even without it being a double so yes I completely understand where that’s coming from I’ve gone for a black freestanding one in the end and to be honest it looks fine, the actual capacity isn’t that much different, literally talking 2 centimetres but it gives me an extra 10 cm of work space. In the kitchen as small as mine every millimetre counts 🤣
