Would you go ahead with sale

Would you be worried about going ahead with a purchase in this market where you've already gotten 11% off the initial asking price ( 75k) . Mortgage offer is 5 years at 4%

Opportunity to take a lodger in for around 700-1000 a month

I am going ahead with the legalities and monitoring the situation, scared of the negative equity risk .....

However moving into a rental for us would be costly and very stressful ... and we've already sold our current property

Just wanting other thoughts

( The property we are buying is an investment property being sold, so this doesn't impact a family)

I don't see why not as long as you can afford it. A lot can happen in 5 years.

Is it a long term move? If so I would go for it.

5-7 years minimum .

And if we did need to relocate we could find tenants for it I'm sure .

I feel sick with anxiety at the moment with it all, and I'm not even a super anxious person usually 🤦‍♀️
