I need a new front door bell as I’ve had an extension on the front.
Dont want to wire one in, don’t want to pay a monthly fee.
What do you suggest ?

I find the battery ones work well and the internal bit that rings can be either plug in or battery operated and you can have a number of them so you can have them in different rooms.

OP.
I think @Twonkyboo is referring to this kind of bell

We’ve got that one, bought for hard of hearing reasons. Button can be screwed to or stuck to door or frame.
ringers are top of stairs and kitchen.

We have a battery doorbell which has been really good for a long time, but now rings itself when it’s subject to windy weather. Particularly at night.

Just go to home bargains and get a stick on one for a tenner
