Cost of a George Clarke

In my head, what George Clarke does on a lot of his shows falls between architect and interior designer.
What sort of costs are involved for that sort of service?

I paid around 3k but I didn't use much of the interior service. Think a full package was going to be an additional £1500 - definitely not more than that.

Thanks @TheRealKatnissEverdeen . Was that an architect, or something else?

Yes, an architect. Spent lots of time asking us how we would want to use the space, gauging our current style, moods created in the home. His design for my bedroom was spot on and the space and ensuite is pretty special. I spent time thinking about colours, materials and then decided to do myself.

I was wondering this. I like a lot of his architectural advice.

an architect. My DP is one, and he has done jobs that are essentially internal design, ie designing fixed furniture. He hated it and went back to commercial but several “domestic” practices can offer this service!

@Lastqueenofscotland2 Do you know what the typical price range was?

Apart from technical and design drawings, we also needed several listed building, planning and building regs application. We looked at the fees of architects/architectural consultants and it was eye watering. I ended up doing a crash course in Interior Design, incl. design history and architectural drawing, and my student card gave me free access to auto cad and other architectural software. The course had an online and in-class (Chelsea Harbour) option, but to combine with work and family, I did almost everything online.
