Show me your kitchen handles/cups and knobs!

Anything you regret about the style/colour? We are having a modern shaker in a very light cream installed. Light switches and other fittings are a brushed chrome. 1930's property originally.

I like the style in the pic, but it only comes in these colours which I would clash. Would this style be a nightmare to clean also? Any alternatives or help appreciated.

I'll try to post a picture of my drawer fronts. The kitchen is pale grey shaker style. My main regret is that I didn't ask for a butler sink as I love those but thought I didn't have enough space, so didn't ask. Too late now.

The top is the original plain cream, the second doesn't show up too well but is pale pink with cream stars and is a replacement (from TK Maxx) as the original kept coming loose and the bottom one is obviously different again. One of the original knobs just came away in my hands so I replaced most of them like this to look a bit quirky.

Your choice is attractive and should be all right to clean - just use the washing-up sponge on a very regular basis.

We couldn't find any that we liked from Howdens/Benchmarx/Wicks etc. they were all similar and a bit dull (3 years ago, might be different now). I found some on Etsy, they were shipped from China and took about 2 weeks to get here, but they're duck egg porcelain and suit the kitchen much better.

Thanks for the suggestions.

@HaveYouSeenNancy - this is exactly how I feel. I've looked at all the regular kitchen outlets and all look very similar- and boring!

Not that I want something really out there, just a bit of a nod to the style of the house, works with shaker, is functional and doesn't break/tarnish in 12mths.

Have a look on Plank Hardware. Lots of lovely handles. We have just had a new kitchen installed and used satin nickel knurled handles. Excellent quality. Kitchen is a traditional bespoke wood and the handles bring it up to date without being too twee. I have friends who have cup handles and they all say they get very dirty.

They are from a company called Hafele and are very nice but they would definitely clash with Satin chrome.
Have a look at www.m-marcus.com
Or
www.alexanderandwilks.com who would have a good selection of knobs and cups.

Have a look at These Please. I’ve got a couple of sideboards and a couple of bookcase/drawer units in the living room - all had boring chrome knobs. I replaced them with knobs from TP. Chose the same colour palette, but mixed and matched the designs. Sounds odd, but it works well. Will try to get a photo in decent light tomorrow.

I forgot to add the photo, sorry. These were about £6 each plus about £30 for postage from China, but that was before Covid. I think I just searched Etsy for porcelain cupboard handles or something and they're a good solid quality.

I'm now preferring handles to cups due to see some older style ones on a shaker door. Any pics/ideas for these in a brushed chrome appreciated.
