What colour walls in my bathroom?

New white suite being fitted and will choose whitish matt tiles around bath as looking for a blank canvas look that will appeal to buyers. Planning to add colour with towels etc.

What colour should I emulsion the walls?

Are you doing the hpuse up to sell immediately or do you plan to live there for a decent time? If you plan to live there yourself, paint them the colour you like most. If you are trying to flip your house, try and find a white that matches the tiles. My personal favourite accent colour for bathrooms is blue, and I also really love wallpaper and panelling. Shaker style or T&G mdf panelling can totally transform a bathroom wall and bring in interest without the need to go wild on colours.

We have Mizzle by Farrow and Ball. Get the modern emulsion. It’s a sea foam colour. Restful and chic in my view!

Mizzle (and variations thereof) is lovely. Also, soft pink might work very well. We have Dulux Blush in a bathroom (white bath and sink, soft beige/stone porcelain tiles) that gets early morning light and it looks great. You can add depth with this using dark brown glass bottles for products and other darker accessories. We've got a walnut shelf and wall lights with walnut trim. Pink is supposed to induce happy, calm feelings and make the complexion look good, so perhaps will have a positive effect on your potential buyers too!

Pink is great - but my dh would hate it and refuse to buy a house with a pink bathroom. Mizzle, like all grey- blues, should be a save, classic choice.

@NellyBarney
We have Setting Plaster by F&B in our dining room. DH hasn’t refused to go in there yet!

Dulux Polished Pebble

Some interesting colour options I wouldn't have considered.

And the suggestion of matching emulsion to tiles from NellyBarney feels safe.

Much to ponder....
