Porceline outdoor paving tiles next to flags???

I have a 1930's semi stone built house, just taken out an unused garage and have space in the garden. There is nothing wrong with most of it which is york stone paving slabs. Other than decking I can't think of anything else and I can cover garage base with. Would Porceline tiles and York paving slabs work well together? it would be in the same tone of colour of the flags and stepped up a little.

IMO no. I’d either go for more york flags (you can get reclaimed which are cheaper and aged so fit better with your existing) or get something completely different, like decking. Personally I think something nearly matching but not quite could look a bit odd.

ok, thank you. I thought decking but as its under 2 large trees, I didn't want the maintenance of decking, will look at reclaimed flags.
