From normal euro cylinder to anti snap by a locksmith, any ideas how much locksmiths charge for that? Outside London.

Don't pay a locksmith, it's easy to do it yourself. Watch a YouTube video.

You could pay £200 for something you can do in 10 minutes.
Agree, YouTube it, you'll be astonished how easy it is.
I took my old barrel to screw fix to make sure I bought the right size.

It was about £70-80 per lock plus the call out/labour charge.

The back door I can do no problem but the front door is an assa thumb turn, it looks like a deadbolt or mortice but the metal strip on the door is solid.

Im not confident to start doing that to my front door.

I had this. Had to remove the metal strip (it was screwed on) and the screw that holds the eurolock was underneath it.

Be careful if you use a locksmith, because often they will use cheaper locks. My friends had theirs done by a locksmith (after I had warned them how easy they are to snap and they had seen the vids on youtube), but the locksmith put in some cheaper Yale ones, rather than the 3 star ABS or Uliton ones.

No screw at all on the side of the front door in the metal strip? Anything on the thumb turn part? That is weird, even for a thumb turn lock.

For the back door and the front if possible, get an ABS lock. We have them, even if you give someone a spare key they can never get a copy cut as you need the code which is supplied with the lock on a plastic card and 4 keys are provided.
