Does this floor look freshly oiled to you ?

Just had engineered floor buffed and oiled today for the first time. I found smell the oil earlier and it’s much cleaner looking than before, but, the more I look at it, the more the floor looks „thirsty“. Before I text the floor guy - is it me, or does it look like it needs a second coat ?

I'd expect a light sheen on it.
I can't see that in your pictures, so possibly a second coat is needed.

Sorry can't tell. You need a much closer and clearer picture.

Gorgeous coloured flooring by the way :)

We oiled our floor ourselves and put two coats on, we had to leave it until the next day to do the second coat, I would have probably expected him back to do another coat, is it meant to have a sheen or is it matt.

Where is the floor from? It’s gorgeous 😍

Thanks everyone - I’ll call the floor guy tomorrow. @SussexRoyal got it from a local store, if your in Lancs / Wyre I can pm you their details 😊.
