Leaks in a rental

We are renting a 50s property at the moment and have just reported two leaks to the landlord. One where there is real wetness on the wall and droplets coming through and one with a spreading damp patch. Both near windows, both in kitchen. He says they are damp or condensation, I think it's the windows. He's sending a plumber to look at it in case it's pipes. Any thoughts?

Not condensation. That's ingress from badly sealed windows I'd think.

Thanks - that's what I thought.
