I’m having dark green tiles around the bath - (period property and I’m thinking Victorian-ish but hopefully a soho house luxe contemporary vibe…) and I rather fancy some gunmetal taps and shower I have seen on Victorian Plumbing. However I’ve read that you should go for the best possible tap brands for reliability and Grohe and Hansgrohe only do chrome (and a very few black) options. Is it better to do Grohe shower and tap fittings? Will I regret the trendy ones? And are there other brands to look out for that would be good quality but have other colour options- not too pricey? Thanks
