Hello,
After some advice about what low-voc flooring options are out there. We are replacing existing 10 year old Sisal carpets in master and children's bedrooms. The Sisal, while hardwearing, has stained a lot just from water spills. I'd like to get something that is a bit more stain resistant. I don't want to go for synthetic carpets (I can't stand the smell of new carpets and am worried about the chemicals treatments in them like flame retardant off-gassing for a while). We are in a first floor flat conversion where the lease stipulates carpets in bedrooms so can't go for hardwood flooring.
Any ideas what would fit the bill.
- Is Seagrass better than Sisal for stain resistance?
- Are moths a huge problem will wool carpets?
- What kind of low-VOC underlays and glues can we use?
- Any carpet fitter recommendations (SE London)?
TIA!
