Anyone else worried about a U-turn on stamp duty?

Have exchanged on a Jodie but don’t exchange until November. Very worried the govt could u-turn on the stamp duty reductions like they did on the 45% tax… anyone else concerned?

If you have already exchanged,you were planning on paying the stamp duty, and the reduction is a bonus.
Dont spend it until you've completed.

I think it's unlikely. The 45% tax rate was so unpopular. The stamp duty hasn't really provoked much outrage.

I doubt it, there had been no outrage about it and it does help those at the bottom end of the market and FTBs

Not with mortgage rates hitting 6% it doesn`t, it is of no use to most FTB now, the best thing would be if they made the seller pay it, wonder if they will?

Depending on your circumstances it may be quite a small saving anyway.
