Slightly odd question - yellowing white plastic on tumble dryer - how to change

Can anyone help with this? I have just updated my tiny utility room and the only thing "spoiling" it is my white tumble dryer where the control panel (white plastic) has turned yellow - whether from age / sunlight, I don't know. The door itself which appears to be metal is still white. Now I have new cupboard doors (white) and worktop (white/grey) it looks awful.

I've googled various rememdies - baking soda / bleach / hydrogen peroxide, but nothing seems to make much of a difference. Its next to a silver / graphite washing machine, so thought about wrapping it but you wouldn't be able to see the numbers / timings etc on the control panel if it was covered in DC Fix / vinyl wrap and I can't seem to find coloured but semi transparent.

Does anyone have any ideas (other than buying a new tumble dryer which isn't really an option at the moment!)

Could you print off a sticker to cover the front, with the appropriate markings on it? If so wrap the panel then put sticker on it.

White plastic yellows over time. It's shit, but unavoidable. If it's only your front panel you could look at getting one of various stick on plastic/vinyl sheets & cutting to size with gaps for dials/buttons, or a hard sheet of plastic cut to size. (The type used in kitchens/bathrooms to line walls/splash Backs)

my consumer unit looked great when installed, now looks like I'm a smoker (I'm not!!). It's very annoying. Next time I paint the kitchen, I might look at covering it & painting it. (Coveting it first so if it looks shut I can peel it off)

I covered an old fridge with fablon - looks superb. Is you TS a White Knight?

I was told that it is because some plastic is not 'stable' in ultra-violet light (ie sunlight)
I have a printer where the plastic case is white but the lid has yellowed and I cannot get it white again.
They both looked the same when I bought it.
UV stable plastic is more expensive apparently.
