Estate agent property for sale viewings

Is this a red flag? The seller of a property I’m interested in doesn’t live anywhere near the property, the property is empty, the estate agents have the keys etc. but he insists that no viewings can take place after 11am. For what possible reason would it matter? I’m confused. I can’t think of why he has made this rule. The estate agent told me he has been quite difficult and they’ve had issues with him. Is there a legitimate reason why he doesn’t want viewings past 11am? I can’t think of one.

Terrible neighbour who sleeps late and then pounds drum and bass from lunchtime until the early hours?

If he is that difficult about viewings he'd be a right pain in the arse as a vendor.

No possible non-dodgy reason that I can think of.

I’ve tried thinking of everything and nothing is coming to mind 🤣 just wanted to see what others thought too…

his property has been on the market for way over 6 months and he had apparently also listed it another time before but the buyers had to pull out. The properties around me are going so fast it’s making me wonder if there’s something wrong. Probably best to avoid it as he will be a nightmare to deal with I’m guessing!

The vendor sounds like a nutter
