we have been doing a upcycle on our kitchen so painting the kitchen cabinets and change worktop, we have a teal colour for a feature wall and a brilliant white on the other parts of the walls. Could anyone suggest some other colours that would go with all this please?

thank you

It all feels quite cold to me so I would suggest a warmer hue like mustard yellow or burnt orange. Otherwise a plaster pink colour for a lighter less bold version?

Hi thank you for your reply, yes it’s the coldness I want to try warm up, they are good suggestions thank you

Maybe change your blind for one in a jolly colour like a mustard or something like a PP suggested? Coloured accessories such as a kettle, toaster, tea towels, oven gloves?

Love the accessories idea thank you all

I think cabinets look good as they are. Ass PP suggested - put modern curtain/blind, change the worktop and possibly floor? Or could put a runner rug and put a tree in a pot to warm up the room.

Love the feature wall. I would keep cabinets as they are and maybe think about changing the floor

Yes burnt orange and mustard sounds lovely I have to say. The floor would be fine too with those.

Vicliz24 · 05/10/2022 20:19

Mustard or even a burnt orange would be lovely 😊

I think you need texture rather than more colour - we used wooden shelves, books, spices, cooking equipment to add focal points
