We've been ready to exchange for a couple of days now. Each day it doesn't happen, and I'm not sure why. I'm the middle of a chain of three so surely it should only be a couple of phonecalls?
My solicitor keeps saying she is waiting to hear from the buyer's solicitor, but doesn't seem to think she needs to chase or try and recontact them unless I ask directly. The EAs are all being a bit useless, and I'm getting mixed messages (finally got my EA to chase this afternoon and she said the buyer's solicitor told her my solicitor hasn't contacted them for over a week).
I really need to exchange today or tomorrow- do I keep being a pain and calling/emailing for updates from everyone or will that just piss people off?
This seems to be a really frustrating stage!
