We struggled with this and have ended up going to Drew Forsyth in Hebden Bridge who are happy to measure and fit in London, absolutely beautiful kitchens and we can’t wait to fit.

Be prepared for a very long lead time - in the end we went with a German kitchen (suits what we wanted anyway, pared back and modern). All bespoke joiners we approached had lead times over 8 months from order.

I would really recommend Herringbone kitchens. We have been looking at lots of different options and they are our top choice. One of our neighbours have them and the quality is amazing! They are very creative and come up with great ideas. They are based in Canterbury but do a lot of London kitchens! :)

@Yellownotblue That's really good to know. Do they take a major deposit at the beginning or just pay when each section or work is completed? Lead time isn't really an issue - if finally ever complete on the house we're supposed to be buying the kitchen is the last thing we'll do but I'd actually quite like to make the decisions and then have it in train for next year.
