What size rug under King bed

What size rug should I have under our king bed? The bedroom is 4.25m x 3.7m

If it's a rug under the bed, most of it would be covered. Would you consider two rugs, one on each side of the bed?

Placemarking because I want to do the same with a regular double. Currently I'm thinking one giant rug that comes out 3ft in all directions.
