Does anyone know if the cuts announced today will also apply to BTL properties?

Yes, the additional 3% remains the same, so it's now 3% up to £250,000, 8% up to £925,000 etc

You will have to pay an additional 3% over the standard rates. The fact it is a BTL is not relevant, it’s owning more than one property.
