What colour should I paint my bathroom

We moved into our new house recently and knew the bathroom needed sorting. We'll eventually replace it completely, but for the time being it needs painting, as it's not been done for years.

It one of those lovely, white, shell designed corner baths, sink and toilet (very 1980s), it's mostly tiled in white ceramic squares, from floor to ceiling on 2 walls. It's quite big with white tiles on the floor.

I was initially thinking something dark as a contrast, such as navy, but my dh doesn't like that idea (how dare he have an opinion), so I was thinking something like a sage green, any other ideas?

I like light blue, light green or off white. Creates a tranquil feeling.

How about a very dark green? I am considering Pleasure Gardens Green by Mylands. The shower, taps, radiator are all black though so I think that helps. (house in process of buying) with white sanitary ware.

Green is a lovely colour for a bathroom, maybe a soft olive green or darker sage. I like dark colours in bathrooms it feels spa like.

As the tiles are white you are lucky and can choose whatever you fancy. I would just be careful with white, as some whites clash. You could also consider washable wallpaper.

I have white suite and white tiles. My bathroom has been every colour! It's currently racing green
