Our house is 8 years old and was built with 3 rooms on the top floor/roof. They all have pitched ceilings. It's often cold up there in the winter so I wanted to inspect the insulation but we don't have a hatch anywhere!!
Is this in breach of building regs? And is the only way to check the insulation to cut a hatch in one bit of horizontal ceiling?
