Help! My snakey tap is leaking

The tap in my kitchen sink is leaking, from underneath. I have attached a photo. I can't feel the hose being wet, so I think it's leaking from the black connecting piece. Although don't know what that's for?

Any advice? I assume it's a job for a plumber, not quite an easy fix? And is it likely to be an expensive one?
