Extension costs

I’d like to extend out the side of my house, single storey, two meters by five meters. I suspect building costs are quite high now post covid. If you’ve had building work since covid, how much have you paid and for what size?

@ChampagneCamping without more details - are steels involved, is a new kitchen required, a new bathroom? To what finish I.e 1st fix? 2nd fix? Decorated? It's impossible to say.
We have recently completed a major renovation and it cost 3x our architect's estimate although admittedly we did up the specifications and took twice as long!
