Moving soon. Tips for packing or get the professionals in?

Would value any advice about best plan of attack...

Got the contents of a 3 bed house to pack up and very little spare time on my hands in which to do it (probably like everyone else!) Roughly how much would a professional service cost or any ideas of how to tackle it? And then there's the wanting to leave it clean and tidy for our buyers. So stressful.

Just had the quote. £500 additional to pack. Think I will go for it so we can just carry on living normally until time comes to move. Thanks for all the replies x

We’ve just moved and I regard myself as a fairly minimalist person and am ruthless about not having clutter. I really thought packing would be quite easy but it was the pits! It’s that balance between starting early and packing non essentials and then having to wait to close the move to pack the more essential stuff.
