Shared ownership flat London

We're looking to move to London, we don't need to worry about schools and are looking at shared ownership.

So far 2 bed flats seem to be within our reach in places like Greenwich.

We would love to have places to walk to and to be able to get to central london quite easily.

Safety is a concern too as DH works away a fair bit.

Can anyone recommend a good area please? Is Greenwich nice? We've visited but only during the day.

Like anywhere in London Greenwich has its nice and not so nice bits. Are you looking at the SO flats down by the river or at the Peninsula? There's a lot going on there and it's a 'young' area. Greenwich itself is great - vibrant town, lovely park and easy to get to Central London.

Thank you, it's the ones by the river. They look really nice but most new build flats do to me!
