How long until the Land Registry updated?

If you've bought a house in the last 2 years or so, how many months did it take to show on the Land Registry?

I bought in Feb 22 and nothing yet, I expect mine will be next year as it has never been registered before (one owner since before it became compulsory)

DD bought 21 September last year, I think it was about April before it appeared.

My mother passed in June 2021, probate took 3 months, land registry notified in early September, Land Registry updated in late June this year, so 10 months.

Thanks, 7 months and 10 months.. hopefully not too much longer then.

First registrations and transfer of part have been taking far longer than straightforward transfers about 18 months I think.

They are really behind, there's a section on their website about it. I think we were about 9 months

My new neighbours moved in during the last week of June. I've just looked at Rightmove and their purchase is now listed. Think I checked last week (I'm nosey) and it wasn't there yet. So that's just under 3 months.

First registration can take 2 years.

We bought at the end of March and it’s still not been updated yet, but that was from someone who’d been here for 40+ years so does that make it a first registration that will take ages?

First registrations about a year.

You can ask to have it expedited if you want to sell the property.

I did wonder if it would affect remortgaging if it drags on towards 2 years!

Apparently a 14 month delay. My son needed to remortgage after 3 months (long story!!) and he had to send proof of new sale in order for the LR to expedite the initial registration. They did within about 6 weeks.

We bought in March 22 and it came through about a month ago, so about 5-6 months.

June last year and still hasn't come through!
