Wren Kitchen Quotes

Hi Mumsnet, has anyone had recent quotes from Wren Kitchens on medium/large kitchens? We have been quoted £17k (no installation) for infinity range approx. 20 units including appliances.

Does anyone know if Howdens/Benchmarx would be cheaper than this? Is this a good price (FYI we are not in London).

Thanks!

Daughter recently paid 12k for a Wren fitted Infinity kitchen ( small/medium sized kitchen in London) plus ended up paying another 4K extra installation costs to plumb in sink, dishwasher etc plus pipes needed to be moved to accommodate the plan and she needed a new fuse board.
It looks fabulous but some minor issues such as they sent the wrong sink colour and a couple of doors were missing. She’s now waiting for the free replacements to arrive. Overall, she’s happy with Wren as the fitters they allocated her are excellent and the kitchen looks great.

We found benchmarx cheaper than wren for equivalent (9k vs. 13k). Howden wouldn't quote for us without trade account. We also got a quote from magnet which was about 10k.
In the end after much research and using the drawings from Wren/benchmark/magnet as a guide, we ordered with diy kitchens and paid £2.5k and fitted ourselves. That didn't include worktops which we got through their sister company worktop express nor appliances.
