Has anyone ever had to go to mediation with a builder?

Hi,

We might end up in a position where we need to go to mediation with or builder due to huge delays (because of human error rather than any outside factors) and a catalogue of other mistakes made.

Has anyone been through this process? Is it expensive? Would we have any chance of winning based on delays and errors or are they just seen as part of the deal when extending?

Wow I have never even heard of this. Our builder has led us a merry dance and we are haemorrhaging money- I didn't know there was a way of holding them to account
