Please help with living room layout ideas! I'm wanting to fit an office space in it as well with storage which is making it difficult. Have attached layout, and the office and fireplace/tv options I am looking at. Am thinking of having desk/storage on the 3.1 m wall, with a fireplace/tv above on the opposite wall. Then the sofa on the 2.7 m wall, with chairs opposite under the windows. However I'm thinking that won't be great placement for watching TV. But can't think of any other options? Any ideas?Open to anything!

something like this?

D = desk
S = sofa
C = two small low chairs - not too big
TV on the wall
R = big rug to draw things together

I think that would work OK. I'd have the TV much lower down than in that picture. Unless you really need a real fire (which needs a real chimney etc) you could have a 'fire mode' on your TV which just shows an image of a fake fire (they can be pretty good).

another option would be no TV but have a projector mounted on the ceiling to project movies onto the wall. that works well if you like having a big movie night but don't just have the TV on as background in the daytime. And when it is off, there is no ugly black TV to see.

I had a similar layout in a house I lived in, it was on the 1st floor of a town house and I loved that room as the layout was so versatile, we had it as a play area and a study area at various points.

I think with the dimensions of your room I'd do something like the below.
