Not an attic flat but the roof supports come down into the room, as in the photos (1st pic is not my property, just screenshotted from Rightmove to give a clear example). Does anyone know the technical term for this, please? Am trying to figure out how best to configure bookshelves around it (along with the problem that the alcove is very shallow) and it would be easier if I could Google using the correct words! Thanks
