I am in the middle of a kitchen extension.

I want to have a kitchen with an island and then a dinning table. But I don’t think I have room.

the kitchen will be 5.5m wide and 5.3m long.

anyone have a similar sized space and if so how do you utilise it?

thank you

I don’t have one that size to advise but when we were doing ours I spent ages scrolling through rightmove looking at similar property to check out the layout and dimensions of the kitchens. Are there housing like yours you could nose through?
it all depends on where your doors and windows are but I saw the attached on rightmove and they seem to have plenty of space for both.

That is brilliant - thank you so much!!! A little wider than mine but not by too much

It should be wide enough. You need 60cm depth for the wall units, a space of around 90cm between the wall unit and the island. If the island is around a meter wide, you then need around 210cm for your table width and chair clearance, so you should be fine. Ours is around 5.1 metres and still feels spacious.
