Buying a house

I’m going to be buying a house soon and have two girls age 12 and 7.

I was wondering if I should include looking at 2 bedrooms with the possibility of making the 2nd room into two if it’s a large bedroom? Like a partition wall?

will this cost the earth?

I don't think it will cost loads. My friend has done similar for a boy and a girl. Just think about windows and actual size of the rooms after.
