Where to live

I'm currently living in Wimbledon and like it for the most part. I have been looking to buy a family house for a bit now, but can't seem to find anything I like as much or more than the place I am currently renting. Just looking for ideas on other places I should consider. We work from home, but my husband has to go into Chelsea about twice a month.

We are currently living car free, so we would still want to get arpund without a car.

Budget and size of house requirements might be useful!

We have a decent budget--though in Wimbledon it doesn't go that far. Up to £1.5 million. Would like 4 bedrooms, a nice kitchen, a dining room and a garden and to be somewhat close to public transport. Would like 1800+ sq ft.
