Hi everyone

I need some advice/ info about Ashford, pls. We want to move further from London & Ashford seems like has nice, affordable houses. Would appreciate ideas about which areas are nice, safe in Ashford to live and areas to avoid? Particularly, Chilmington green, Finbery and Kingsnorth.

ThanksWink

Chilmington - check the flood plains.
Finberry- massive truck park and very heavy traffic. Surrounded by dual carriageways
Kingsnorth do you mean park farm the new build houses? Fine. Nice park with pond also near a big Tesco.

Can't walk to town from any of these.

If I were you I would check out repton/orchard heights.

Good luck

Traffic jams everywhere, crap town centre (full of discount shops, hairdressers, barbers, tattooists and nail bars), building new houses in every spare scrap of land, almost impossible to get dr/dentist appointment… I could go on. It’s nicknamed Trashford for a reason.

There are much nicer places in Kent to be honest.
And yes, even the locals call it Trashford.
