Solar panels

I'm interested in real world experiences of both PV and hot water solar panels. How much do yours really make to your bills and how often aren't they enough for your needs?

We have both. We had the hot water tubes first and really don't pay to heat water when the sun shines. Our panels are newer and again we are pretty much self sustaining during the summer. The winter's going to be a shock to the system...
