I think blakelands is ok, quite a big industrial estate area.

Think that's probably fair price, MK is quite expensive

Blaklands is OK area, near canal in Giffard Park. Pretty close to the centre of MK and close to M1 if needed. Also close to Willen lake.

MK is quite expensive. Blakelands is okay, near Newport Pagnell which is nice. As with anywhere there are issues, the latest issues in that area are kids/teenagers messing about (spraying fire extinguishers at peoples homes) and riding mopeds/motorbikes like dickheads around the estate and on the redway.

But that seems pretty consistent behaviour across MK these days.

The council buggered up planning for a massive warehouse in Blakelands which now really looms over some parts of it. Price sounds about right for a decent sized 3 bed detached in a reasonable part of MK though.

I didn't hear of this case 😮 But in general how would you rate blakeland compared to wavendon or any other known good areas in east MK

That's actually a 4 bedroom surely (the study is the 4th bedroom).

Are you concerned about school catchments? Because Blakelands is in catchment for Stantonbury.

peacepurple123 · 27/08/2022 08:41

Yes , School is important , I saw giffard park school ? How is Stantonbury for school?

Stantonbury is a bit of a marmite school. Which is why I mentioned it.
(Everyone I know with upper primary school age children in Stantonbury catchment seems to be hatching plans to get them in somewhere else. If your DC are younger, it obviously might all have changee when they get to secondary age).

peacepurple123 · 27/08/2022 13:55

OK, I was thinking primary would be Giffard school , which has Ofsted : Good

For now I dont have kids but will be planning soon 😊
