Can tablet salt or any other alternative salt be used instead of Mini curve salt in HarveyArc

Hi all
We bought HarveyArc 2 years ago and due to space issues I can only store 5 packs of Mini curve salt. Every time I order, I see their prices increasing like crazy, started off at 16£ or so and not are approx 22£. This constant increase makes me wonder if I have any other alternatives to use for the curve salt. The questions I have:

  1. Can tablet salt (or any other form of salt) be used instead of curve salt?
  2. Will it mess up with my HarveyArc?
  3. Are there are any good UK based suppliers who deliver the alternative salt you suggest?
Thanks in advance.

DH knows a lot about this stuff through his work, I’ll ask him.
Where are you based?

He says he can’t see why you couldn’t use tablet salt instead of the arc blocks, you’d just need to be refilling more often.
He might cover your area for delivery if you want to PM me a more accurate location but he supplies another brand although we use it in our Harvey softener at home and it’s fine.
