Time to exchange

How long does it take to exchange? We just sold with no chain and are trying to estimate earliest when could move.

Normally it takes about 3 months - so might depend on how busy the market is in your area. It could take longer if there are any hold ups.

I purchased with no chain either end in 4 weeks, offer to completion.

My best is 4 weeks, longest 7 months. So anywhere in between!

I’m afraid the answer is how long is a piece of string. The one I have just done was 2 and half months. Another the same as urs was 8 months. There are so many reasons as to why things get delayed.
As an example have u looked online to see how long the searches are in ur area.
map many things can crop up.
