Long time lurker, first time poster on the property forum - such a helpful place! I’m embarking on a full house reno (my post-divorce treat / project!) and it’s the first time I’ve done something like this!
I’m having a kitchen extension built with ‘crittall style doors’ (aluminium as I don’t think I can afford the real thing!) The width of the door opening will be 3750mm. This means I can get either a ‘four-pane’ option, with each ‘pane’ being approx 930mm wide (including a set of doors) or a ‘six pane’ option with each pane being 625mm. I think the four pane may be too wide and the 6 too narrow; so a bit stuck. Would love to know the mumsnet hive mind opinions! If you have these type of doors, what is the width of your panes?
Thanks!
