How long survey to exchange/complete?

I know this is dependant on many variables but survey completed 4 weeks ago with no major findings according to surveyor but official report not received yet.
is there any indication on how far we may be from exchange at this point?

No. The survey has no bearing at all on the legal process so isn’t a benchmark at all I’m afraid.
Searches and enquires are a far better marker

yep, what @Lastqueenofscotland2 said. We have done our survey for our own benefit quickly etc. and the searches were completed 3 weeks ago but the vendor has not yet found a place to move to (after almost 4 months). Which only proves that there is no standard answer to your question. Unfortunately. It all depends on how quick are all the parties involved and/or if there are any issues with the houses, chain and so on. It's dreadful normally. Good luck though!

we have received enquires from buyers solicitor, I dont know about searches, we are selling to FTB and going into rented ourselves so short chain.

Set a deadline then. Feel free to chase hard!
