Anyone had a garage conversation recently? How much did it cost? We are looking to convert a double garage into a games room. 21ft x 21 ft.

We part converted a double garage. Quotes from about £8k to double that. That included loft boarding, ladder, double doors, window etc.

@SergeiL Thank you. We have a budget of approx £25k but DH is not convinced we will get it done for that!

Definitely get some quotes. Ours was done before wood prices went crazy though. We had a garage conversion specialist company, a local building firm and a carpenter friend of a friend quote. The carpenter’s quote was the cheapest but he was brilliant to deal with so we went with him. I reckon you can get it done for that price.
