Worktop stains

We are looking to replace the kitchen in our holiday let, and i’m considering worktops. We currently have black granite.

id like a pale worktop to lift some light into the room, ideally a quartz, but I’m concerned about maintenance, as I’m not local, and of course people aren’t as careful when not in their own home.

Im specifically worried about staining on a white worktop, from things like takeaway curry.

can anyone advise?

thank you

I have a white quartz composite worktop and so far nothing has stained it (7 years). The only advice I had from the worktop company was not to put pans on it straight from the oven. So I haven't tried that.

Carrera marble does stain. I had that last time.

Thanks….see, I think people would put pans on it!

We have a polar white worktop (think it is corrian?) I was recommended Bar Keepers Friend powder. Can get it at home bargains for around £3. That takes any stains out.
