Living room awkward layout help!

We've recently bought a house but haven't moved in yet as we are doing various renovations, but I am struggling to figure out how to lay out the living room because it's awkward with 2 doors, so needing access through the room to get to the kitchen.

We are moving from rented and are binning our old sofa etc. so we are buying all new/charity-shop-bargain furniture, so specifics of furniture are all totally negotiable - other than we would like a decent amount of bookcases as we are big book people.

Can anyone help out with a rough idea how you would lay out this room sensibly to have a reasonable walk-through from the hall to the kitchen, but also have plenty of bookcases, and a tv visible from the couch (gamer DH!) without leaving loads of big empty space?

How big/high is the fireplace?
Would TV work over it?

The natural walkway is the diagonal through the middle of the room.
So book cases between the hall door and window, the window and chimney and the chimney and the kitchen door.
An L shaped sofa in the other corner with a small table with drawers to hold the gaming controllers and TV over the fire or mounted on a swivel frame in the corner between the window and chimney
If the room is big you could leave a walkway behind the sofa

Similar to @SolasAnla - depends on space behind sofas as to if sideboard etc goes there or by window.

TV to go in corner or above fireplace. Two sofas or could do an L shaped to portion off the seating area with a rug & coffee table.

Pink blobs are sofas, orange is random other furniture!

Corner sofa top left. TV to the left of the window or above the fireplace.

Oh this might be perfect! I hadn't thought of putting the TV in the corner which actually would work really really well!

L-shaped sofa is a good idea to maximise seating. I wouldn't put the TV directly in front of the window due to glare from the window.

I'd have the sofa in the top left corner (red) with coffee table (yellow). Then TV wall-mounted over the fireplace if possible (blue). Bookcases to the side of the window and the fireplace (green). If you need extra seating, I'd buy a small armchair that can be relocated around the room depending on where suits (purple).
