How to move or disguise soil pipes.

Just starting to renovate a property, architect plans and have builder booked just waiting for planning. As soon as we get a site meeting and get to the finer detail I will speak to the builder. In the meantime I'm wondering what the options are. It is a dormer bungalow and currently on the large gable end there it the soil pipe from upstairs which runs vertically down the wall, then horizontally to meet the downstairs bathroom. No renovation happening upstairs, so what do we do?

Can you post a photo or diagram OP, I'm finding it hard to understand the problem.

do you mean you want to extend outwards past the wall with the soil pipe? you can box in the pipe with lots of sound insulation and it will just look like a pillar at the edge of the room. your architect will work out a solution.

@Imtoooldforallthis this might be useful reading.

Our house has no external drainage pipes except overflow outlets and a pipe from the kitchen sink. Instead of S and V pipes on the outside walls we have pipes in the inside, boxed in with air admittance valves. But as you’re not renovating upstairs that likely isn’t a solution. Might be worth a conversation though.

Sorry, wish we could edit, just saw the bathroom is downstairs, so it may be possible to get rid of the big pipe if you sacrifice a little space inside.

Sorry if I wasn't clear we are having the whole property rendered but there are two ugly soil pipes one from upstairs joining the one downstairs.
