Extension

I'm looking to have a small extension at the back of my kitchen. I have some savings but I don't think it would cover the entire price. How do people find things like this? Purely savings? Thanks in advance

Remortgage, personal loan...
Interest rates are still low so if you need to borrow do it sooner rather than later as they will only go up and borrowing will cost you more.

Remortgage or savings usually for us.

At the moment you can expect the price to be triple what you would expect and take a lot longer than it should, that's if you can even get a builder to do the work.

Remortgage, windfall, loan are some options!

We funded ours by buying a house 35k cheaper than the one we sold. When we needed additional work (new windows, radiators, oven etc) we remortgaged

Thanks for the replies. I don't really want to re mortgage so I think I'll have to have a look at having a loan
