We had offer accepted today on a great 'fixer upper' just off Byers Road in the west end of Glasgow. Needs new kitchen, bathroom, radiators and don't get me started on that awful front door. Very excited to see what we can do with it.

Oh wow- that's one stunning property! I don't think anything needs doing to it immediately. Obviously what you want vs what it has is a different matter!

Your version of a doer-upper and mine are very different! It looks stunning and no need to spend any money on it immediately just enjoy moving in and unpacking

I'd paint the kitchen cupboards as I did in my last place. They were the same solid wood and looked great in white then dark navy.
